Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Director of Operations to join a dynamic 5-star.

Reporting to the General Manager, you will play a key leadership role in driving the resort’s day-to-day operations, guest experience and overall performance across Rooms, Food & Beverage, Housekeeping, Engineering and other operational areas.

This opportunity would suit a hands-on and engaging hotelier who enjoys being close to the operation, working collaboratively with teams and creating memorable experiences for both guests and Heartists.

What you will be doing:

Qualifications

Your experience and skills include:

You may currently be working as a:

  • Director of Operations/Operations Manager
  • Executive Assistant Manager – Operations
  • Hotel Manager
  • Senior F&B or Rooms leader with broad operational responsibility

Ideally, you will bring:

  • Previous leadership experience in an upscale, premium or luxury hotel environment.
  • Proven success leading Rooms and/or Food & Beverage operations within a full-service hotel.
  • Experience working in a large and complex hotel operation (300 plus rooms).
  • Strong understanding of guest experience, service recovery and quality standards.
  • Commercial acumen with exposure to budgeting, productivity and financial performance.
  • Experience leading, coaching and developing high-performing teams.
  • Knowledge of workplace health and safety, compliance and risk management practices.
  • Experience within an international hotel brand environment is highly regarded.
