Who You Are

You are a collaborative, detail-oriented leader with a deep understanding of data movement, integrations, and compliance across marketing technology ecosystems. You excel at building cross-functional partnerships, relationships with partners and understand the complex scenarios users navigate to make their data work for them. You don’t just “move the data”—you own the data pipelines, ensuring that clients can activate their audiences across platforms in a seamless and efficient manner.

You are a collaborative, detail-oriented leader with a deep understanding of CRM integrations, identity and publisher activation paths. You seek to understand the “why” behind any request and drive cohesion from vision to delivery. You excel at standardizing data delivery and advocate for data integrity by socializing best practices

What You’ll Do

First Party and Third Party Data Delivery & Integration – 70%

  • Lead the standardization of first-party data and third-party data delivery for audience activation.

  • Own the process and pipes that enable blu users to action on 1:1 identity-based audiences

  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to align processes with business goals and technical needs.

  • Monitor KPIs for outbound data flows and report on performance, adoption, and ROI.

Proof of Concept Leadership – 15%

  • Design and execute proof of concept (POC) delivery tests to validate new approaches and technologies.

  • Accelerate the speed of Proof of Concepts (POCs) through standardization and automation.

  • Analyze results and present recommendations for scaling successful POCs into production processes.

Cross-Functional Partnership & Stakeholder Management - 15%

  • Serve as Horizon’s Subject Matter Expert for audience activation and delivery, bridging business needs with technical execution.

  • Build strong relationships with internal business units, product owners, and external partners to align roadmaps and expectations.

  • Foster growth of junior team members and promote strong relationships throughout the organization

  • Facilitate workshops, requirements gathering, and solution design sessions for new integrations or enhancements.

Job Requirements

  • BS/BA degree in Marketing, Business, Data/Computer Science, or a related field—or equivalent experience.

  • 7+ years of experience in data operations, product management, or marketing technology, ideally in an agency or media environment.

  • Strong understanding of data integration concepts, APIs, and audience distribution technologies (e.g., CDPs, DMPs, Clean Rooms).

  • Experience managing vendor/partner relationships and cross-functional projects.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.

  • Proven experience documenting business use cases, conducting ROI analysis, and prioritizing based on impact and scalability.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

  • Proficiency with tools such as Snowflake, AWS, Tableau, and Jira; experience with data privacy compliance a plus.

Salary Range

$145,000.00 - $185,000.00

A successful applicant’s actual base salary may vary based on factors such as individual’s skill sets, experience, training, education,  licensure/certifications, and qualifications for the role.  As an organization, we take an aptitude and competency-based hiring approach.  We provide a competitive total rewards package including a discretionary bonus and a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, retirement savings plans, company paid holidays and unlimited paid time off (PTO), mental health and wellness resources, pet insurance, childcare resources, identity theft insurance, fertility assistance programs, and fitness reimbursement.
