  • Responsible for space management throughout AAH’s portfolio of properties, both owned and leased.
  • Develop strategies to better position AAH in facing the challenges and opportunities facing healthcare facilities in the 21st Century.
  • In support of Advocate Medical Group and Aurora Medical Group leadership teams as well as site leadership teams this position will evaluate and oversee capital projects related to real estate and space.
  • Responsible for maintaining lease properties for AAH.
  • Work with the VP Real Estate Services and Associate General Counsel to develop strategies to properly address management of owned and leased spaces from third party developers and landlords and to third party individuals or physicians.
  • In support of the Administrator Facilities Services, responsible for the compilation and upkeep of all facility documentation and architectural drawings, both hard and electronic copies.
  • Responsible for directing the real estate decisions related to strategic initiatives of the organization, including determining lease vs. own decisions, locate potential space to meet those initiatives and negotiate lease terms for leased space and purchase terms for buildings and/or land for owned space.

Major Responsibilities:
