  • Inform customers of unit prices, shipping details, anticipated delays, and any additional information needed by the customer after the placement of the original order.
  • Check delivery tickets for changes or mistakes.
  • Submit completed BOLs to the appropriate CSR; create millrun BOLs
  • Perform order double checks.
  • Performs all duties in strict accordance of company safety and environmental policies.
  • Serve as backup in unloading inbound freight when a Driver is unavailable.
  • Check inventory control and notify Facility Manager of orders that would deplete stock.
  • Confer with sales, shipping, warehouse, or common carrier personnel to expedite or trace missing or delayed shipments.
  • Coordinate deliveries to maximize truck capacity and efficiency.
  • Dispatch drivers providing complete instructions.
  • Evaluate Drivers’ performance.
  • Monitors Drivers’ DOT hours.

Your Role & Responsibilities

Job Summary:

  • Perform truck inspections with drivers on a weekly basis.
  • Maintains ELD system, corrects errors and retrieves daily reports.
  • Assist Facility Manager in the day to day matters of the facility.
  • Manage the facility Intelex reporting system.
  • Demonstrate and facilitate open and honest communication with the department and with employees at all levels of the company.
  • Communicate regularly within the department on appropriate matters. Communicate with peer managers across the company.
  • Related duties as assigned.
