Job Description

GRI Engineering & Development is hiring for multiple warehouse positions on both 1st and 2nd shifts.

We will be hosting an upcoming Job Fair for candidates interested in joining our new distribution center team. Come see us at Holiday Inn Hotel & Suites Tupelo North (923 North Gloster, Tupelo, MS 38804) on these dates: 

• Tuesday, October 13: 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Wednesday, October 14: 7:30 AM to 2:30 PM

Our team will be ready to answer any questions and provide insights on our current openings.

We are currently seeking candidates for the following positions:

• Warehouse Unloaders
• Material Handlers
• Reach Truck Operators
• Order Pickers
• Warehouse Checkers
• Forklift Loaders (Sit-Down Forklift)
• Janitorial Associates

Previous warehouse experience is helpful but not required for many positions. We are committed to training and developing our employees and providing opportunities for long-term career growth.

Principle Responsibilities

Depending on position, duties may include: 

• Loading and unloading trailers
• Operating forklifts and reach trucks
• Order picking and pallet building
• Inventory movement and material handling
• Shipping and receiving activities
• Quality checks and order verification
• Maintaining a safe, clean, and organized work environment
• General warehouse support duties

 

Qualifications

Qualifications

• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment
• Ability to communicate in English
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and heavier weights with assistance when required
• Ability to work safely and follow company procedures
• Forklift or reach truck experience preferred for equipment operator positions
• Reliable attendance and positive attitude
