What you'll do
- Processing shipments including creating all necessary documents and any customs clearances that may be required.
- Selecting appropriate transport routes to achieve on-time and cost-optimised delivery.
- Dealing with queries from customers, sales and materials planning.
- Continuously monitoring the transport companies with regard to deadlines, costs and delivery quality.
- Freight invoice auditing.
- Maintaining continuous contact with transport companies to achieve a high level of responsiveness.
- Inspecting and maintaining storage-relevant and shipping-relevant master data in SAP to guarantee frictionless processing.
