What you'll do

  • Receive, unload, inspect, sort, stock, pick, pack, stage, and ship merchandise accurately and efficiently.
  • Match item numbers, quantities, manifests, freight bills, and shipping documentation with physical merchandise.
  • Process inbound shipments, outbound orders, store returns, warranty merchandise, acquisitions inventory, and vendor return according to O’Reilly policy.
  • Operate RF scanners, handheld devices, voice-picking systems, warehouse management systems (WMS), and other warehouse technology as required.
  • Properly store and retrieve merchandise from floor locations, shelving, racking systems, and reserve storage areas.
  • Load and unload trailers, containers, route trucks, and freight shipments while ensuring merchandise is secured and protected from damage.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy through proper scanning, labeling, auditing, staging, and discrepancy resolution procedures.
  • Rebox, relabel, sort, and prepare merchandise for shipment or inventory placement as needed.
  • Process warranty merchandise, batteries, recalls, non-stock items, unsaleable merchandise, and vendor return goods according to O’Reilly policy.
  • Follow established procedures for hazardous material handling and disposal in accordance with O’Reilly safety standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain productivity and accuracy standards while completing assigned warehouse tasks and operational workflows.
  • Keep work areas organized, clean, and free of safety hazards.
