Here at GXO Doncaster we have an exciting opportunity for a Warehouse Operative to join our team at the Trax Park facility for our Howdens contract. You’ll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the warehouse, helping deliver high-quality service by completing customer orders to the highest standard.

 

This is a full-time, permanent role, and you will be working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 22:00 to 06:00.

What you’ll do on a typical day:

 

• Preparing and completing warehouse orders for delivery according to schedule
• Sorting and placing materials/ items on to racks
• Assisting with the loading/unloading vehicles and completing associated paperwork
• Stock counting and location checks
• Completing admin tasks using management systems
• Working to a high standard of accuracy and productivity in all tasks 

 

What you need to succeed at GXO:

 

• Warehouse experience and understanding of inventory processes
• Counterbalance experience and licence is an advantage

• Team player with a “one team” mindset
• Flexible and adaptable to varied tasks and locations
• Positive, can-do attitude with motivation to meet and exceed targets
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

• Computer literacy
