About this role
SentientGeeks is looking for talented .NET Developers to join our development team at our Kolkata office. An ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge of .NET technologies, excellent problem-solving ability, and good communication skills.
Experience: Minimum 1.5 – 2 Years
Job Location: Kolkata
Work Mode: On-site
Responsibilities
- Understand client requirements and participate in requirement analysis.
- Develop, maintain, and enhance web applications using ASP.NET Web Forms and .NET Core Web API.
- Collaborate with internal teams to design scalable and efficient software architecture.
- Troubleshoot application issues with minimal support and provide technical solutions.
- Revise, update, refactor, and debug existing codebases.
- Work with SQL Server databases, including writing and optimizing Stored Procedures (SPs).
- Develop and maintain technical documentation throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Serve as a technical resource for applications and provide support when required.
- Manage source code configuration and version control processes.
- Coordinate with the Delivery Manager to ensure timely project delivery.
- Follow coding standards and best practices to deliver high-quality applications.
Requirements
- Minimum 1.5 – 2 years of experience in .NET development.
- Strong knowledge of ASP.NET Web Forms (Mandatory).
- Experience with .NET Core Web API development.
- Knowledge of SQL Server with strong Stored Procedure (SP) writing skills.
- Must have a solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
- Familiarity with software development lifecycle and debugging practices.
- Knowledge in Angular will be an added advantage.
- Basic understanding of .NET MAUI will be considered an added advantage.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
