Principle Objective

The role of Drainage & Civils Trade Sales Advisor is to provide our customers with a knowledgeable, friendly and dependable service whilst at the same time optimizing sales and gross profit, promoting the company's products and services in a professional manner and delivering a superior standard of customer care to our existing customers.

Knowledge & Experience

• Previous experience working in a Drainage & Civils providers preferable
• Previous experience managing large key accounts preferably
• A proven track record of achieving and exceeding both sales and margin targets
• Good knowledge of Drainage & Civils products
• Previous sales experience an advantage
• Basic computer skills, including Excel

Key Responsibilities

• Build effective working relationships with key customers, to understand their requirements thus ensuring that the correct products are supplied
• Use initiative to identify sales opportunities and offer advice and solutions to customers, thus maximizing profitable sales and margin
• Achieving Sales & margin targets
• Ensure that company policies are always followed when producing paperwork associated with sales
• Liaise with suppliers where necessary
• Support the Manager and colleagues in working as a team to ensure the division operates efficiently and effectively within company policy
• Always ensure a tidy working environment in line with health and safety guidelines
• Perform any other duties as may be deemed necessary or as may be required by the company
