Duty Manager | Apollo Bay Hotel

Apollo Bay Hotel is on the hunt for a motivated, hands-on Duty Manager to join our leadership team in one of Victoria's most iconic coastal destinations. Whether you're already a Duty Manager or an experienced supervisor ready to step up, this is your next move on the Great Ocean Road.

About the Role

Reporting to the Venue Manager, you'll lead front-line teams across food, beverage, gaming and events, supervising shifts, coaching staff, and handling guest service and recovery. You'll also manage day-to-day operations — opening/closing, cash handling, stock control, cellar operations and venue security — plus support training, onboarding, rostering and performance management to hit labour and operational targets.

• Strong leadership and team development skills
• Exceptional customer service focus
• Experience in food and beverage operations
• Sound understanding of compliance and venue operations
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends
• Positive attitude, resilience and accountability
• Current RSA and relevant state-based qualifications essential
