About this role

Sony Music Entertainment is home to a broad roster of artists across genres, and our direct-to-fan merchandise and e-commerce activity continues to grow rapidly. We have an exciting opportunity to join the team. With the huge recent growth of direct-to-fan sales, we are seeking a person who can coordinate the entire process of running an artist online store from start to finish, including product ideas, asset creation, inventory management, P&L, ticket bundles and merch ranges.

Ceremony of Roses is a global media, branding, design and events company with a full service music merchandise arm, covering every aspect of merchandise sales, production and distribution worldwide. Founded in 2016 by music and fashion entrepreneur Brad Scoffern, the company has worked with artists including Adele, Olivia Rodrigo, The Kid LAROI and Lil Nas X. A creative force in developing futuristic branding and merchandising services for artists using a blend of custom-manufactured and stock garments, Ceremony of Roses is a market leader in artist merchandise.

What you'll do:

  • Set up the official artist store, collaborating with various internal UK / US teams and serving as the point person for artist management and internal colleagues regarding each artist store.
  • Liaise with the design team to create the merch range, obtain artist approval and get the range into production, ordering appropriate quantities and pricing accordingly.
  • Manage the life cycle of album pre-orders, bundles, ticket bundles and inventory levels, working closely with CRM / Digital teams and advising on best practice for social media assets, digital spend and strategy / execution.
  • Ensure each store is appropriately linked.
  • Maintain on-store merch ranges by staying on top of trends and initiating exciting new drops.
  • Liaise with the Operations Manager to ensure stock is ordered and delivered within the expected timeframe.
  • Generate pre-order / sales reports and inventory reports.
  • Manage the P&L; for each store, using past data to make informed decisions.

Who you are:

  • At least 2 years experience in a similar e-commerce role is required.
  • A passion for creating merch items and seeing fan excitement when launched.
  • Meticulous attention to detail, strong Excel spreadsheet skills and confidence with numbers.
  • Experience of the fast-paced, reactive business of an artists' online store.

What we give you:

  • You join a vibrant global community with the opportunity to channel your passion every day
  • A modern office environment designed for you, empowering you to bring your best
  • Investment in your professional growth and development enabling you to thrive in our vibrant community
  • The space to accelerate progress, positively disrupt and create what happens next
  • We give you the platform to champion positive change, with the opportunity to contribute to our social impact, diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives
  • We provide an excellent range of benefits like private medical cover, a generous pension scheme, life assurance, income protection, plus loads of music industry perks. There’s also time off over winter break
