Job Description:
Nyman Associates is seeking compassionate and reliable Early Intervention Paraprofessionals to support children ages 3–5 in accessing virtual therapy services.
In this role, you will work directly with young children in their home or preschool setting, helping them participate in play-based activities guided by a virtual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP).
Position Summary:
As an E-Helper you provide essential support to children between the ages of 3 and 5 assisting with access to virtual therapy sessions. Working under the direction of a virtual SLP, you play a crucial role in supporting the child in being able to participate in play-based learning activities in the child’s home or preschool.
Responsibilities:
Assisting child with participation in play-based learning activities
Supporting participation of parents and caregivers
Modeling and encouraging positive social skills
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (Required)
Experience working with preschool age group as a Para-professional or classroom assistant
Must be comfortable supporting children in homes and community preschool settings
Must have reliable transportation to travel to scheduled sessions throughout the day
