What you'll do
- Program, set and operate Wire EDM and Spark Erosion machines.
- Manufacture precision components to aerospace quality requirements.
- Interpret engineering drawings, CAD models, and technical specifications.
- Select and prepare electrodes, tooling, fixtures and materials.
- Perform machine setup, process optimisation and first-off inspection.

We are a recruiting for a leading precision R&D engineering company serving the aerospace and defence sectors, manufacturing complex, high-precision components for some of the world's most demanding applications. Due to continued growth and investment in advanced manufacturing technologies, we are seeking an experienced EDM Machinist - Programmer, Setter and Operator to join our skilled production team.
The Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for programming, setting, and operating both Wire EDM and Spark Erosion (Sink EDM) machines to produce precision aerospace components to tight tolerances and exacting quality standards.
Working from engineering drawings and CAD data, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality parts while continuously driving efficiency and maintaining the highest standards of workmanship.
