EHS Business Partner (Senior Safety Professional)

Join ASML as a EHS Business Partner within the EUV Factory, where you will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and compliant work environment. Your expertise will directly impact the health and safety of our high-tech manufacturing processes, ensuring that our operations meet the highest safety standards. This position is vital for fostering a strong safety culture and driving continuous improvement in our Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) practices.

Role and responsibilities
As a EHS Business Partner, you will:
• Act as a trusted EHS advisor to operations, engineering and facility management teams.
• Collaborate with EHS Subject Matter Experts to implement safety initiatives across various business units.
• Conduct safety risk assessments and ensure compliance with relevant safety regulations and ASML policies.
• Identify and mitigate risks related within a highly complex industrial Factory.
• Develop and deliver safety training programs to enhance workplace safety awareness.
• Support the development and refinement of safety policies and procedures.
• Track safety performance indicators to provide insights for improvement.

Education and experience
To succeed in this role, you will need:
• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in safety management and in a technical field (f.i. Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical).
• At least 15 years of experience in health and safety within high-tech manufacturing or semiconductor production.
• Strong knowledge of Dutch and EU safety regulations, including the Safety Act and Environmental Act.

Skills
To thrive in this position, you will need the following skills:
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively across multiple teams.
• Proficiency in risk assessment methodologies (HAZOP, FMEA) and incident investigation techniques (Kelvin Topset, Tripod Beta, RCA).
• Strong analytical skills to identify safety risks and develop effective mitigation strategies.
• Fluency in English; knowledge of Dutch is preferred.
