The Strategic Supply Chain Intern will support key continuous improvement initiatives across the supply chain organization by combining data analysis and process improvement. Under supervision, this intern will help identify opportunities for cost reduction, component industrialization, and operational efficiency through data mining, exploratory analysis, and business case development.

In this role, the intern will also contribute to process automation, data management, and reporting tool enhancement, helping streamline information across platforms such as Excel and Smartsheet. Working closely with the Strategic Supply Chain team, cross-functional operations partners, and FLIGHT DECK leaders, the intern will support daily management, action tracking, reporting visibility, and continuous improvement efforts across design, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain processes.

This internship is ideal for a motivated, self-driven student who is interested in building skills in critical thinking, continuous improvement, digital automation, cost analysis, and operational problem solving within an aerospace environment.

  • Execute with guidance data analysis
  • Support continuous improvement projects
  • Create - improve tools and processes to analyze technical and commercial data
  • Present results for the upper management
  • Standardize dashboards, action trackers, and other operational management tools
  • Document processes and support implementation of improvements

Qualifications and Requirements

  • University student in 6th semester or above in (Industrial, Mechanical, Mechatronics)
  • Effective written and oral communication in English and Spanish
  • Familiarity with Excel, data analysis, and basic knowledge of programming, automation, or scripting (for example: VBA, Python, or similar tools)
  • Awareness of industrial standards and quality tools
  • CAD tools (Siemens NX), Technical drawing bases
  • Self-learning ability and willingness to learn tools such as Smartsheet
