Electrical Engineering Program Integrator

Amentum is now hiring for an Electrical Engineering Program Integrator in support of the Prototyping Integration Facility (PIF) of the Command, Control, Communication, Computers, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance Center (C5ISR) at the Aberdeen Proving Grounds, MD. This project provides the U.S. Army, U.S. Army Futures Command, U.S. Special Forces and the U.S. Marine Corps integration of C5ISR operational prototypes onto a range Military Weapon Systems & Platforms (air, ground & sea) as well as performing C5ISR prototyping, integration, and testing support based on Real-World emerging needs of the Warfighter. 

 

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Work as an Electrical Engineer that oversees prototype/ limited manufacturing programs focused on C5ISR programs.  
• Provide technical leadership in the development of concepts, technical data packages, and oversees fabrication of electrical hardware systems.
• Work with other engineers to ensure quality, safety and logistics concerns related to systems designs are met. 
• Assist in the preparation of test plans to demonstrate the effectiveness of the design packages and present the results of the design and test phases and work with customers by providing estimates for work and tracking expenditures. 
• Oversee the set up and operation of a full range of electrical fabrication tools found in a well-equipped prototype development shop. 
• Work from engineering design drawings and technical specifications. 
• Oversee the design and testing of a range of systems like wiring harnesses, power cables, communication cabling, electrical component brackets. 
• Oversee the use of test equipment to ensure performance of electoral cables, assemblies and COTS components. 
• Plan and oversee the Fabrication and construction of mechanisms, models and instruments that fulfill engineering requirements.   
• Work independently, with minimal supervision.
• Plan programs being performed on these systems include providing estimates for work and tracking expenditures.  
• Work with other engineers to design systems  

Required Qualifications:

• BS in Electrical engineering, Network Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or related scientific /technical discipline with five (5) years of experience. 
• Must be capable of planning, coordinating, and directing the activities of administrative, program, and technical personnel. 
• Must have a thorough understanding and experience in the complete life-cycle management of military systems. 
• Must have knowledge and experience with Department of Defense (DOD)/Army plans, policies, standards, and methods aimed at the acquisition and support of military systems. 
• Must be capable of managing and controlling schedules and cost to provide on time, within budget, performance of all aspects of the contractual effort. 
• Must be capable of providing direction for operations and ensuring compliance with all management policies, plans, and procedures.
• Must be capable of providing recommendations for resolution of technical problems. 
• Experience in the manufacture of communications-electronics or military systems
• Knowledge of Computer Aided Manufacturing (CAM) operation
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a US Government Secret Clearance. Please note US Citizenship is required to obtain Secret Clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Active Secret Clearance
• Three (3) years of experience planning and executing C5ISR research and development programs

       

Compensation Details:

$110,000-135,000
