Electrical Technician I - 2nd Shift

 The Role: 

Our site in San Luis Obispo is seeking an Electrical Technician to join our team. The Manufacturing Electrical Tech 1 will be responsible for performing electrical panel layout and wiring tasks related to building our Ultra High Purity Systems. This position is expected to always operate in a safe manner and comply with all applicable work instructions and drawings. 

What You’ll Do: 

• Ability to learn and understand standard and non-standard options per the Customer Data Sheets (CDS) requirements. 

• Ability to wire panels and follow schematics, wire diagrams, and verbal instructions. 

• Ability to layout components on electrical panels per instructions and drawings. 

• Ability to assemble point to point wiring – Cable and harness installation. 

• Learn engineering specifications to produce quality and accurate products in a timely manner. 

• Assist with 6S responsibilities (sort, set in order, shine, standardize, sustain, safety). 

• Maintain a safe and clean work environment and maintain or increase On-Time Shipments. 

• Ability to work safely and recognize the safety of others. 

• Provide accuracy and consistency in work performance. 

• Learn proper measuring techniques, tool use, care, and quality standards. 

• Work with a team as well as independently when needed. 

• Any other duties as assigned.

What We Seek: 

• High School Diploma or equivalent 

• 0-2 years of experience in electrical assembly and/or have basic experience in electrical assembly 

• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50lbs daily 

• Ability to climb ladders and be on your feet for extended periods of time 

• Ability to pay attention to detail 

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment 

• Ability to perform visual checks and handle material responsibly 

• Ability to use a computer and learn basic data entry 

• Dependable and flexible. Must be able to work over-time and weekends to support business needs
