Your Team, Your Impact

Our team performs the electrical validation of custom Marvell ASICs built around high-speed Ethernet and PCIe IO, the silicon that powers modern data center infrastructure. Day to day, we characterize demanding high-speed measurements on precision instrumentation and scale the Python test automation that makes validation faster and more repeatable. You will join a close-knit group of about eight engineers based on-site in Santa Clara, working at the intersection of high-speed hardware and validation test infrastructure. That work directly enables the products that connect enterprise, cloud, AI, and carrier networks.

What You Can Expect

• Analyze overnight test data and compare results against expected outcomes.
• Set up and calibrate high-speed benches using oscilloscopes, bit error rate testers, network analyzers, and pattern generators.
• Characterize device parameters and document findings in summary reports for your manager.
• Debug unexpected results with your mentor and team until a solution is found.
• Build Python automation and AI-assisted validation agents, using tools such as Claude and Glean, to speed up daily routines.

What We're Looking For

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field with an expected graduation date between Fall 2027 – Summer 2028
• Solid grasp of engineering fundamentals and an understanding of microelectronic circuits and systems
• Knowledge of, or strong interest in, RF systems or high-speed data transmission and signal integrity
• Programming experience in Python, with test automation experience a plus
• Knowledge of electronics and printed circuit board assembly (PCBA) is desired
• Experience with data processing and visualization is desired

Expected Base Pay Range (USD)

28 - 56, $ per hour.

The successful candidate’s starting base pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location and market conditions. The expected base pay range for this role may be modified based on market conditions.
