About this role
Key Responsibilities
Maintenance Operations
- Routine Inspections: Conduct regular inspections of electrical systems, including motors, transformers, switchgear, and control panels, to ensure optimal performance.
- Preventive Maintenance: Implement scheduled maintenance tasks to prevent equipment failures and minimize downtime.
- Troubleshooting & Repairs: Diagnose and rectify electrical faults promptly to maintain continuous plant operations.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs, replacements, and inspection.
Project Execution
- Installation & Commissioning: Assist in the installation and commissioning of new electrical systems and equipment as per project specifications.
- System Integration: Integrate new electrical installations with existing systems, ensuring compatibility and compliance with safety standards.
- Collaboration: Work closely with project teams to ensure timely and efficient execution of electrical works.
- Compliance: Ensure all installations adhere to relevant electrical codes and safety regulations.
Qualifications & Skills
- Educational Qualification: ITI or Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
- Experience: Minimum 6-7 years of experience in electrical maintenance and project execution within an industrial setting.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical blueprints and schematics.
- Safety Knowledge: Familiarity with electrical safety standards and regulations.
- Communication: Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Tools & Technologies
- Diagnostic Tools: Multimeters, insulation testers, and thermal cameras.
- Software: Basic knowledge of computer.
- Safety Equipment: Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including gloves, helmets, and arc flash protection.
