Electrician – Borehole & Industrial Systems

Location: Head Office, Derbyshire – UK-wide travel
Salary: £17.50–£22.00 per hour
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Travel: Around 25%, including occasional overnight stays

We are looking for an experienced Electrician to join a growing team, responsible for electrical maintenance, installations and fault-finding across Head Office and UK-wide waterwell and construction sites.

This is a varied role suited to a practical, self-motivated electrician who is comfortable working in both hazardous and non-hazardous environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical maintenance, repairs, inspections and installations at Head Office and site locations
• Install and maintain domestic and commercial borehole pump and control systems
• Diagnose and resolve electrical faults, including emergency call-outs
• Work safely within hazardous environments and ensure compliance with relevant legislation
• Complete electrical reports, inspections and maintenance records
• Maintain electrical equipment, tools and stock
• Support rig moves and site operations in line with Health & Safety procedures
• Manage and maintain the company’s NAPIT registration and electrical compliance
• Work closely with supervisors and the Workshop Manager to plan works and order required equipment

About You

• Level 3 Electrical/ Electro-Technical qualification or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years’ electrical experience, ideally within construction or industrial environments
• Previous construction site experience required
• Competent in BS7671, Inspection & Testing, ATEX/CompEx and NAPIT or similar
• Strong understanding of Health & Safety requirements
• Full UK driving licence
• Willingness to travel across the UK and stay away when required
• Reliable, proactive and able to work independently
