We’re looking for a Connecticut-licensed Electrician with an active E-1 or E-2 license to join our growing team in Portland, CT. In this customer-facing role, you’ll diagnose electrical problems, complete residential repairs and installations, and provide homeowners with clear, honest recommendations.

This is an opportunity for an experienced electrician who wants steady work, strong operational support, and the ability to grow with an established home services company. You’ll have the tools and resources needed to focus on delivering safe, high-quality work and an exceptional customer experience.

What You’ll Do

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain residential electrical systems.
• Perform electrical safety inspections and identify code, performance, and safety concerns.
• Install and replace electrical panels, breakers, circuits, outlets, switches, lighting, ceiling fans, and other residential electrical components.
• Complete service upgrades, wiring repairs, dedicated circuits, and electrical system improvements.
• Install and service generators, surge protection systems, EV chargers, smoke and carbon monoxide detectors, and other electrical equipment.
• Clearly explain findings and present homeowners with appropriate repair or replacement options.
• Prepare accurate estimates and document all work performed using company software.
• Ensure installations and repairs comply with applicable electrical codes, permitting requirements, and company standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area while protecting customers’ homes.
• Communicate professionally with customers and build trust through honest recommendations and quality workmanship.
• Coordinate with customer service, dispatch, and other field team members to complete jobs efficiently.
• Maintain company-issued tools, equipment, materials, and vehicle inventory.
• Participate in ongoing technical, product, customer service, and safety training.

What We’re Looking For

• Active Connecticut E-1 or E-2 electrical license required.
• Previous residential electrical service, repair, and installation experience.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities.
• Thorough knowledge of residential electrical systems, wiring methods, and applicable electrical codes.
• Ability to complete work independently and safely.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to explain technical findings and available solutions clearly to homeowners.
• Professional appearance and a respectful approach when working inside customers’ homes.
• Strong organizational, documentation, and time-management skills.
• Comfortable using a tablet, mobile applications, and field service software.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to commute to the Portland, CT location and travel throughout the assigned service area.
