Davis Heating, Cooling, Plumbing & Electric is looking for experienced Residential Service Electricians who take pride in accurate diagnostics, safe workmanship, and helping homeowners understand their electrical systems.

Davis provides residential electrical repair, installation, safety upgrades, lighting, and generator services throughout its service areas.

What You’ll Do

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain residential electrical systems.
• Install and replace panels, breakers, circuits, outlets, switches, lighting, ceiling fans, and related components.
• Complete service upgrades, wiring repairs, dedicated circuits, and electrical system improvements.
• Install generators, surge protection, EV chargers, smoke detectors, and other residential electrical equipment.
• Perform electrical safety inspections and identify code, safety, or performance concerns.
• Explain findings and available repair or replacement options clearly to homeowners.
• Complete work safely and in accordance with applicable electrical codes and company standards.
• Complete accurate estimates, service notes, photos, and required documentation.
• Protect customers’ homes and maintain a clean, professional work area.
• Maintain assigned tools, equipment, vehicle, and truck inventory.
• Coordinate with dispatch, customer service, and other field teams.
• Participate in technical, safety, and customer-service training.

What We’re Looking For

• Previous residential electrical service and repair experience.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Knowledge of residential electrical systems, wiring methods, and the National Electrical Code.
• Ability to independently manage service calls from diagnosis through completion.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Commitment to safe, code-compliant, and high-quality workmanship.
• Applicable Virginia electrical license or credentials preferred.
• Comfortable using tablets, mobile applications, and field service software.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
