Electrician

Performs a wide range of electrical maintenance and installation tasks, including lighting systems, motors, controls, and fire alarm panels, while troubleshooting electrical issues and coordinating with contractors. Manages work orders, procurement, and related documentation to support efficient facility operations. If employee holds a masters electrical license they will assist with obtaining appropriate permit(s) as needed. All staff positions on campus support students and will be involved in student-focused activities.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

• Lighting and lighting control system maintenance and installations including motors, controls and pumps, electric heat, changing batteries to various systems, and running conduit and wire mold installations.
• Trouble shoot electrical problems.
• Assist contractors and sub-contractors. Provide access to work spaces and assist as necessary
• Generate, retrieve, review, and maintain work orders
• Maintain paperwork, emails, invoicing for purchases to track credits (i.e. rebates, incentives) pertaining to upgrades, purchases, and building assignments
• Order and pick up supplies
• Fire alarm panels and distribution panels and equipment. Troubleshoot general panel trouble and map fault issues and make appropriate repairs or tell supervisor/call contracted vendor to initiate a service call.

Requirements:

• State of NH journeyman electrical license.

Preferred:

• State of NH master electrical license.

Compensation Pay Range:

$20.98 - $34.68
