Job Summary**

Primoris Services Corporation is seeking a skilled and experienced Electrician, DC MV/HV Terminator (BESS) with expertise in bending conduit PVC. This role will be responsible for the installation, termination, and maintenance of direct current (DC) medium voltage (MV) and high voltage (HV) electrical systems, specifically within Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) projects, ensuring all work adheres to safety standards and project specifications.

Job Responsibilities**

* Perform installation, termination, and testing of DC MV/HV cabling and equipment within BESS projects.
* Expertly bend and install various sizes of PVC conduit according to project plans and industry standards.
* Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams to ensure accurate installation.
* Connect and terminate power cables to batteries, inverters, transformers, and other BESS components.
* Conduct continuity tests, insulation resistance tests, and other electrical checks to ensure system integrity.
* Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform necessary repairs or adjustments.
* Adhere strictly to all safety protocols, company policies, and relevant electrical codes (e.g., NEC).
* Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including proper storage of tools and materials.
* Collaborate effectively with other team members, project managers, and supervisors.
* Complete all required documentation, including daily logs, inspection reports, and material requisitions.
* Operate various hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
* May be required to operate heavy equipment as needed.

Job Qualifications**

* High School Diploma or GED required.
* Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent certification preferred.
* Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as an electrician, with significant experience in MV/HV terminations.
* Proven experience working on Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) or similar renewable energy projects is highly desirable.
* Demonstrated expertise in bending and installing PVC conduit.
* Strong understanding of DC electrical theory and principles.
* Ability to read, interpret, and work from electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
* Proficient in using various electrical testing equipment (e.g., multimeters, megohmmeters).
* Thorough knowledge of relevant electrical codes and safety regulations (e.g., OSHA, NEC).
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced construction environment.
* Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Must be able to lift heavy objects, climb ladders, and work in various weather conditions.
* Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
* OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification preferred.
