Job Summary
The Electrician (Non Driver) at Primoris Services Corporation is responsible for performing a variety of electrical tasks, including installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and components, primarily within a fixed location or without the need for operating company vehicles.

Job Responsibilities
* Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
* Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with codes.
* Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components, using test equipment and hand tools to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem.
* Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components.
* Plan layouts and installation of electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, based on job specifications and local codes.
* Work from blueprints, schematics, and verbal instructions to install and troubleshoot electrical systems.
* Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
* Assist other electricians and tradespeople as needed.
* Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Job Qualifications
* High school diploma or equivalent.
* Completion of an electrician apprenticeship program or equivalent vocational training.
* Valid Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent certification as required by local and state regulations.
* Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as an electrician in a commercial or industrial setting.
* Strong understanding of electrical codes (e.g., NEC) and safety standards.
* Proficient in using electrical testing equipment and hand tools.
* Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
* Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
* Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
* Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks, including climbing ladders, bending, stooping, and kneeling for extended periods.
