Together, they develop advanced upper-limb prosthetic solutions, including bionic hands and robotic wrist systems that help redefine what's possible for people living with limb loss.

We're looking for an Electronic Engineer m/f to join that team. One of our engineers is moving on after several years with us, creating an opportunity for somebody new to make their mark.

What you'll be doing

As part of a small and highly collaborative team, you'll contribute across the full product lifecycle, working on a broad range of technologies and challenges rather than being limited to a single area of expertise.

As an Electronic Engineer, you will:

• Design electronic solutions for both new and existing products
• Develop and improve compact PCB designs used in advanced prosthetic devices
• Support manufacturing activities, supplier interactions and product maintenance initiatives
• Investigate product issues and identify practical, robust solutions
• Support compliance and regulatory activities, including EMC-related testing
• Manage component selection and obsolescence challenges
• Develop test fixtures and support manufacturing test processes
• Collaborate closely with Software, Mechanical and Manufacturing teams
• Participate in design reviews, technical documentation, risk analysis and DFMEA activities
• Contribute to the development of future technologies across our upper-limb product portfolio
  

Who we're looking for

We're looking for an engineer who enjoys combining technical depth with practical problem-solving and is comfortable working across different aspects of product development and support.

You'll likely bring:

• 4+ years of experience in electronic product development and support
• Experience designing PCBs within a commercial or industrial environment
• Exposure to manufacturing, supplier interactions or product support activities
• Experience working with compliance or regulatory requirements
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• The ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Experience in any of the following areas would be an advantage:

• Altium schematic capture and PCB layout
• Rigid and flex PCB design
• EMC compliance, emissions, immunity or ESD testing
• Embedded electronics and microcontroller-based systems
• Battery, charging or power management technologies
• Bluetooth, CAN communications or sensor technologies
• Motor control systems
• Medical devices or other regulated industries

Beyond technical expertise, we're looking for someone who is collaborative, adaptable, resourceful and comfortable working within a small team environment.
