  • Operate an industrial embroidery machine to embroider designs on various materials such as hats, shirts, bags, and more.
  • Know how to thread machine, change needles, and adjust machine settings to optimize embroidery quality and speed.
  • Load and unload materials onto the embroidery machines.
  • Ensure machines are properly threaded and functioning properly.
  • Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality and speed.
  • Good hand and eye co-ordination, manual dexterity, and high attention to detail.
  • Use and understand basic measurements
  • Understand and follow security protocols, and apply safety standards, policies, and procedures, as well as operating procedures.
  • Maintain a clean, orderly workspace and organize and maintain inventory of embroidery supplies.
  • As well as perform other duties as assigned.

Workwear Outfitters is a leading supplier of workwear apparel that enhances worker productivity and comfort, and delivers industry, leading innovation.  Our Nashville workwear business is a prominent manufacturer and marketer of apparel for the workplace with over $850 million in sales.  Our brands (Red Kap®, Bulwark®, Kodiak®, Terra®, Liberty ®, Work Authority®, Workrite® Fire Service, Chef Designs®, and Horace Small®.) consists of apparel that is primarily work shirts, workpants, coveralls and footwear and are worn by millions of workers across a wide range of industrial, service and government organizations around the world.

We are looking for a full-time Embroidery Operator at our Cambridge, Ontario Distribution Center.

Position Responsibilities:
