  • Develop analytical tools, support portfolio construction and risk management
  • Collaborate with traders and prepare investment reporting.

  • Strong and consistent track record with evidence of investment decision-making and risk management
  • Experience across a range of Emerging Markets instruments, ideally including both hard-currency and local-currency debt
  • Strong knowledge of macroeconomics, monetary policy, fiscal dynamics, FX markets and EM fundamentals and an ability to demonstrate a disciplined and robust approach to investment analysis
  • Good understanding of portfolio construction, risk management and performance attribution
  • Good understanding of environmental, social, and governance (ESG) integration in fixed income
  • Master’s degree in Finance, Economics or a related discipline
  • Fluency in English is required

Nice to have

  • CFA charterholder status is highly desirable
  • Knowledge of other languages would be considered an advantage

Overview

 

We are seeking a driven professional to join our Dublin-based Investment Team as an Emerging Markets Fixed Income Portfolio Manager. This role offers a rare and attractive opportunity to play an integral part in the continued growth of FAMI’s investment capabilities. You will work closely with senior professionals in a dynamic, international environment.

What you'll be doing

 

Key responsabilities will be:

  • Co-manage Emerging Markets fixed income portfolios and total return strategies
  • Perform macroeconomic and sovereign credit analysis, contributing to research reviews
  • Monitor economic, monetary and geopolitical developments to support investment decisions
  • Conduct security selection across EM debt markets and identify relative value opportunities
  • Develop analytical tools, support portfolio construction and risk management
  • Collaborate with traders and prepare investment reporting.

Who we are looking for

 

If you want to turn your passion into a career and you have the following characteristics, we are waiting for you:
