What you'll do

  • Lead and execute the quarterly Global Employee Brain Break program. You’ll own the strategy, logistics and content creation for each event. From concept through post-event recap. This includes coordinating with internal and external partners
  • Own end-to-end strategy and execution for our employee giveaway program. This means partnering with teams across the company to design campaigns, coordinate fulfillment and communicate across globe
  • Content creation and writing for key programs. This includes briefing documents, scripts, communication campaigns and more
  • Help with large scale employee swag projects like supplying ~30K employees with the coolest items for our annual Employee Kickoff. This includes vendor management, design coordination, quality review and global distribution logistics
  • Assist with cultural moments and other milestone employee experiences
  • Co-own the corporate calendar and scheduling of all employee events
  • Responsible for our email alias including responding and triaging messages

Job Description

As an Employee Communications Specialist, you'll own some of ServiceNow's biggest moments. You'll lead our quarterly Global Brain Break program, orchestrate registration and logistics for flagship events like our town halls (SNL: ServiceNow Live) and Employee Kickoff, manage global giveaway campaigns, and create the content that brings our employee community together.  

You'll report directly to the Global Employee Communications & Events Lead. This role is positioned for learning and growth. You'll move fast, own the outcome, and gain skills.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role you have: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Public Relations, Communications, or related field 
  • Strong project management and communication skills 
  • 3+ years of experience in internal communications or employee engagement (event management experience is a plus)  
  • Strong project management skills with demonstrated ability to own large, complex workstreams independently  
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills; ability to write for multiple audiences and in various formats  
  • Self-starter who takes ownership without needing heavy oversight; eager to learn and jump into ambiguous situations   
  • Resourceful and self-motivated; able to independently prioritize shifting workloads in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment  

*this position is not eligible for employment based sponsorship

For positions in this location, we offer a base pay of $79,600 - $123,400, plus equity (when applicable), variable/incentive compensation and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure. Please note that the base pay shown is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies, and work location. We also offer health plans, including flexible spending accounts, a 401(k) Plan with company match, ESPP, matching donations, a flexible time away plan and family leave programs. 

Compensation is based on the geographic location in which the role is located and is subject to change based on work location.
