About Empowered Services
Empowered Services is a one-on-one attendant care agency providing Activities of Daily Living (ADL) support and community-based services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD). Through our Empowered Choice Program (ECP), individuals receiving services can choose a trusted friend or family member to become their paid Direct Support Professional (DSP).
Position Overview
We are hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) through our Friends & Family Caregiver Program.
This is a non-traditional caregiving role where you support someone you already know and are connected to (friend, family member, or trusted individual) who:
- Is part of the I/DD community
- Has a Service Coordinator
- Qualifies for in-home support services through Medicaid
You will provide 1:1, person-centered care while Empowered Services manages payroll, onboarding, and compliance.
Important Program Details
- This position is for Oregon residents only
- You must be selected by the individual receiving services
- Hours are based on state-authorized service plans
- This is not a traditional client assignment
