- Identify the fundamental factors that contribute to the desired performance metric.

- Write scripts / Excel / Minitab analysis to create predictive models for performance, have the technical know-how to assess the suitability of your chosen approach and provide clear recommendations to your audience.
- Propose design mitigations, recommendations to achieve performance targets.
- Collaborate with a project team to deliver optimized hair style and drying performance in line with product vision.

- Proficiently communicate ideas and concepts, frequently tailoring communication to suit different levels.

- Ideally 3+ years’ experience in product design and development.

- Reasonable experience in statistical modelling such as multiple regression modeling is preferred.

About the role
The Technology Development department comprises of diverse groups of curious, world class engineering specialists. We are experts in our fields, and we ensure Dyson products are on the edge of what’s possible. The department encompasses specialist groups across different disciplines – Product Performance, Acoustics, Fluid Dynamics, Structural Dynamics, Materials. This role resides within the Product Performance group, which provides the technical analysis of hair appliance product performance. Such quantifying and optimising how well the product dries and styles hair.
Main Duties/Responsibilities:
