What the Programme offers:

• Structured training that includes off- the-Job and workplace Training 
• Successful completion of this Learnership programme will result in a nationally recognized Artisan qualification

Qualifications

The following are the minimum entry requirements for the programme:

Minimum Entry Requirements

• Matric/ Technical Matric with Mathematics (not Mathematics Literacy), Physical Science and English (all with minimum 40% pass), OR
• N2 or higher with all subjects as per the specific Discipline requirements below.

• Boilermaker: Plating & Structural Steelwork or Welders Theory, Plating Structural & Steelwork Drawings, Mathematics and Engineering Science.
• Welder: Plating & Structural Steelwork/ Welders Theory and Plating Structural & Steelwork Drawings, Mathematics and Engineering Science.
• Millwright: Electrical Trade Theory or Electrotechnology or Electrotechnics, Fitting Trade Theory / Mechanotechnology, Industrial Electronics, or Engineering Drawings, Mathematics and Engineering Science.
• Electrician: Electrical Trade Theory or Electrotechnology or Electrotechnics, Industrial Electronics, or Engineering Drawings, Mathematics and Engineering Science.
• Mechanical Fitter: Fitting Trade Theory or Mechanotechnology or Mechanotechnics, Engineering Drawings/ Draughting, Mathematics and Engineering Science.
• Instrument Mechanician: Instrument Trade Theory or Industrial Instrument,Industrial Electronics, Mathematics and Engineering Science.
• Rigger: Rigging trade theory, Engineering Drawings/ Draughting, Mathematics and Engineering Science
• NCV Level - 4 in appropriate trade with all subjects passed with a minimum 40% pass.
