English Teacher

This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic teacher to join a supportive English department where high expectations, strong relationships and a love of literature and language are at the heart of teaching and learning.

The Role:
Teach English Language and Literature across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 experience desirable but not essential).
Plan and deliver engaging, challenging and inclusive lessons.
Assess, monitor and support student progress to ensure excellent outcomes.
Contribute to the wider life of the school through enrichment and departmental activities.
Work collaboratively with colleagues to promote high-quality teaching and learning.

The Ideal Candidate
Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
Has experience teaching English in a UK secondary school.
Demonstrates excellent classroom and behaviour management.
Is committed to raising achievement and inspiring a love of English.
Has strong communication skills and a positive, professional approach.
