The Role and School

You will deliver engaging and differentiated English lessons, adapting learning to meet a wide range of needs and abilities. Alongside academic progress, you'll support students' confidence, independence, communication, and emotional development, by working closely with therapists, support staff, and families, you'll be part of a collaborative team committed to helping every student achieve success.

• Working with KS3 and KS4 pupils, delivering a primary-style, national curriculum education or adapting secondary if applicable for learning needs
• Focused on supporting SEMH students and working to build self-esteem and confidence in taking part in their education
• Known for an inclusive, therapeutic, and trauma-informed approach
• A unique chance to join a close-knit, highly supportive team at an early stage of the provision’s development

We're Looking For Someone Who:

• Holds QTS or QTLS (Unqualified teachers welcome to apply for consideration based on experience)

• Has experience supporting SEMH, ASC, and ADHD students who may also present with additional needs

• Can adapt teaching to meet individual learning profiles

• Builds strong relationships with students and families

• Is confident in supporting pupils who may present with behaviours that challenge

• Has a patient, resilient, and nurturing approach

A SEND qualification is desirable but not essential, and teachers transitioning from mainstream settings with relevant SEND experience are encouraged to apply.
