Entry- Level Associate Attorney

The Tampa office of Kubicki Draper is seeking an Entry-Level Associate Attorney to join its growing insurance defense team. This is an excellent opportunity for a newly licensed or early-career attorney looking to build a strong foundation in litigation while receiving hands-on experience, training, and mentorship.

Candidates should have a strong interest in litigation, a willingness to learn, and the motivation to grow their legal career within a supportive and fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Active member of the Florida Bar and in good standing
• Strong legal research and writing skills
• Strong academic background
• Professional and effective written and verbal communication skills
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Ability to manage deadlines and multiple assignments
• Client-focused mindset and commitment to providing excellent service
• Eagerness to learn, develop litigation skills, and grow within the firm

Your Day-to-Day:

• Assist with drafting pleadings, motions, discovery, and other legal documents
• Conduct legal research and assist attorneys with case strategy
• Review medical records, claims documents, and other case materials
• Assist with preparation for hearings, depositions, mediations, and trial. Will also, handle some of these tasks.
• Communicate with clients, attorneys, and members of the litigation team
• Manage case assignments and deadlines with guidance from experienced attorneys
• Develop hands-on experience handling insurance defense and personal injury matters
• Utilize Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and other Microsoft Office applications
