Interviews: To be confirmedHours:37Rutland County Council are seeking an Environmental Compliance Officer to ensure the safe and legally compliant running of the Council’s waste sites, and to carry out education and enforcement activities across the county.About the roleThe Environmental Compliance Officer is a hands-on role working as part of a small team. You will be working alongside external contractors and local residents to ensure the safe, efficient and legally compliant delivery of the Council’s environmental services. The role includes working on site at the Council’s Household Waste Recycling Centres (HWRCs) as the Technically Competent Manager, providing supervision to the external contractor to ensure their operations fully meet the conditions of the Environment Agency permits.
