About this role
Environmental Coordinator
Make a Difference Every Day
Supervision: The Environmental Manager will provide staff oversight and training on a regular basis. In addition, they will supervise the physical condition of the home; the use of all supplies, food and equipment in the home.
Environment: The Environmental Manager maintains the home according to health and safety regulations, report and document maintenance needs in a timely manner, implement sanitation practices, maintain food and sanitation certification, assist residents in their responsibilities for upkeep of their home, monitor the need for furniture or other items to maintain high standards for home, monitor the use of house supplies, and complete supply orders.

Pay

What You Need
- Committed to providing quality care for individuals with developmental disabilities
- Must recognize, support and committed to ensuring the rights of residents.
- Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, staff and management orally and in written form
- Committed to meeting Misericordia’s high environmental, personal care and active treatment standards
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Ability to work cooperatively as management team member
- Must be capable of meeting deadlines in a timely manner
- Ability to manage time and resources while meeting deadlines
- Must demonstrate reliability, flexibility and adaptability
- Ability to self-organize, meet deadlines and work independently
- Must demonstrate proficiency in computer skills as related to learning to utilize programs such as, but not limited to, Outlook, Electronic Medical Record, Accufund, Medline, Amazon, Delegate
