Job Description

We are looking for an Environmental Service Attendant to join our dynamic team. This position is a Part Time role. You will be offered is a great team environment, work/life balance and the ability to ensure customer satisfaction.

Schedule: Must be available for Days, Afternoons, Overnights, Weekends and Holiday shifts.

Starting Hourly Wage: $22.11

• Knowledge of cleaning products, equipment, and safety procedures
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including days, afternoons, overnights, weekends, and holidays
• Strong customer service skills and professional demeanor
• Good attendance record and reliability
• Ability to follow established cleaning techniques and learn new procedures quickly
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)

How You’ll Make an Impact:  

As an Environmental Services Attendant, you will play an important role in supporting a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for patients, residents, visitors, and staff across hospital and resident care facilities. Your work directly supports infection prevention and control practices while helping maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety throughout the organization.

Key responsibilities include:

• Cleaning and disinfecting patient/resident rooms, washrooms, clinical areas, offices, corridors, and common spaces
• Performing daily, discharge, terminal, and outbreak cleaning procedures in accordance with organizational and infection control standards
• Safely handling waste, recycling and cleaning chemicals following WHMIS and safety guidelines
• Restocking supplies and maintaining cleaning equipment and carts in good working order
• Responding to urgent cleaning requests, spills, and service needs in a timely and professional manner
• Supporting a positive patient and resident experience through respectful interactions and strong customer service
• Following health and safety procedures, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Working collaboratively with healthcare teams to support quality patient and resident care
