Job Description

Overview 

AtkinsRéalis is seeking an Environmental Sustainability Intern – Summer 2027 to join our Charlotte, NC office.  

 

Your Role 

 

  • Support the management of the US Sustainability Management Action Plan 

  • Collaborate with various internal task leads to track action items related to sustainability goals. 

  • Collect, analyze, and interpret data related to sustainability goals. 

  • Prepare reports, presentations, and documentation for internal use. 

  • Contribute to sustainability communications and initiatives. 

  • National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) Support 

  • Document control and organization of project related communications. 

  • Aid in the creation of project related public facing materials.  

  • Attend and document coordination between the project team, clients, and government and local agencies. 

 

 

About You  

 

  • EXPERIENCE:  

  • Familiarity with the National Environmental Policy Act, Environmental Impact Statements, and environmental regulations.

Additional Information  

 

Expected compensation range is between $23- $29 hourly depending on skills, experience, and geographical location.
