Environmentalist / Marine Biologist

We are looking for an experienced Environmentalist / Marine Biologist to support an offshore environmental survey project in the UK. You will be part of a vessel-based survey team, supporting marine environmental monitoring and fieldwork activities throughout the project. Key Responsibilities • Undertake grab sampling and seabed sample collection • Conduct drop-down camera surveys and seabed habitat observations • Identify and record marine habitats and species • Process and document environmental samples and survey data • Maintain accurate field records and survey reports • Work closely with the vessel crew and wider survey team Requirements • Degree in Marine Biology, Environmental Science, Ecology or a related field • Offshore experience • Experience with grab sampling and drop-down camera surveys • Strong environmental data recording and reporting skills • Valid offshore certification and medical required Contract Details Location: UK / Outside 12nm Contract Type: Contract / Vessel-Based Duration: 4 weeks Start Date: 14/10/2026
