ES SAP Cloud Lead

We are seeking an experienced Senior SAP Hybris Developer to join our Commerce Engineering & Support team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, supporting, and enhancing enterprise e-commerce platforms across both legacy on-premise SAP Hybris installations and modern SAP Commerce Cloud (CCv2) setups. Key Responsibilities Development & Technical Architecture • Feature Development & Customization: Design, build, and deliver scalable custom extensions, feature enhancements, and Change Requests (CRs) across both legacy on-premise SAP Hybris (v5.x/v6.x) and SAP Commerce Cloud (CCv2) environments. • Core Hybris Engineering: Customize and extend core modules, including Product Content Management (PCM/items.xml), Cart/Checkout, Order Management (OMS), Backoffice/Cockpits, SmartEdit, WCMS, and Solr Search. • Integrations & APIs: Build and optimize REST/SOAP APIs via OCC (Omni Commerce Channel) and integrate Hybris with SAP ERP (ECC/S/4HANA), SAP CPI, CRMs, payment gateways, and 3rd-party logisitics systems. • Data & Automation: Write, optimize, and maintain complex ImpEx scripts, FlexibleSearch queries, and custom system CronJobs. • Code Quality & Technical Leadership: Perform peer code reviews, enforce secure coding standards, write technical documentation, and mentor junior support/dev team members. Production Support & Maintenance • L3/L4 Incident Management: Provide deep technical support for mission-critical B2B/B2C environments, investigating and resolving complex production defects within strict SLA deadlines. • Root Cause Analysis (RCA): Lead RCA investigations for severe outages, unexpected system behavior, and recurring bugs across both legacy on-premise and cloud-hosted setups.
