A position as a Supply Chain and Quality Manager (SCQM) has arisen within Airbus Defence & Space in Tablada (Sevilla)

The successful applicant will join the Supply Chain and Quality department in the Composite and Metallic Detail Parts team as part of the Procurement Organization.

Mission:

- The SCQM Leads the End-to-End Supply Chain Operations and Quality Management and acts as Supply Chain Industrial, Operations and Quality leader for all the suppliers under the applicable scope

- The mission is applicable to all Programs: A400M, MRTT, L&M, EFA, Aerostructures and any new developments such as Eurodrone.

RESPONSABILITIES:

- Represents Airbus Defence and Space in front of Suppliers

- Ensures the Industrial Maturity and Quality / Operational performance of Suppliers.

- Represents procurement organization in the associated Multi-Functional Team and in front of Authorities during Audits and Assessments.

- Leads the deployment of Airbus DS Quality and Supply Chain requirements in suppliers and for the main ADS programs.

- The SCQM is in charge and/or participates in:

• Call For Tender process from the Operational and Quality points of view.
• New Products Introduction, Transfer of Work, Industrial Changes, Modifications, Assessments
• APQP deployment in suppliers
• Risk & Opportunities Management
• Management of Quality Escapes and all type of non-conformities, leading all the associated activities with internal and external stakeholders
• Leading the root case analysis and associated actions plans from both a corrective and preventative point of view
• Qualifications and Certifications surveillance
• First Article Inspection
• Supplier Performance & Surveillance
• Deployment of Procurement Tools in the supplier

SKILLS:

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:

• Educated to degree level (or equivalent) in engineering or a related discipline.
• Negotiation level communication skills in English and Spanish is required.
• At least 3 years of experience in Supply Chain Quality or/and in Supply Chain

• Rigorous, autonomous, customer-oriented mind-set and ability to prioritise workload.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, including communication, multi-functional team-working, flexibility, proactive behavior.
