Job Description

North 40 Outfitters in Great Falls, MT is looking for an Event & Sponsorship Coordinator to join our team. We believe that each team member plays a vital role in the success of our company. We are looking for authentic and enthusiastic people who love our lifestyle and believe in service before self.

The Event & Sponsorship Coordinator plays an important role in connecting North 40 Outfitters with our employees, customers, and communities. This position leads the planning and execution of internal company events, community events, sponsorships, educational opportunities, and philanthropic giving. The ideal candidate is organized, creative, relationship-focused, and excited to bring people together around the things that make the North 40 lifestyle special.

This is a full-time, on-site position that requires the ability to work between the business hours of Mon-Fri 8 am to 5 pm. This shift can include working weekends and certain holidays and will require some travel as well as  flexibility in scheduling based on events and business needs.

Qualifications

• Experience in marketing, event planning, sponsorships, community relations, or a related field preferred.
• Proven ability to plan, coordinate, and execute events from initial concept through completion.
• Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with store teams, vendors, businesses, community organizations, and other partners.
• Experience coordinating event logistics, including venues, vendors, budgets, communications, materials, and day-of execution.
• Ability to identify and develop sponsorship and community engagement opportunities that align with company goals and community needs.
• Strong organizational and project management skills with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Creative and innovative thinker with an eye for visual presentation and engaging experiences.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Highly responsive and adaptable, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and changing environment.
• Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with teams across the organization.
• Ability to represent North 40 Outfitters and our brand professionally in the community.
• Ability to manage budgets, track event and sponsorship activity, and provide clear recaps and recommendations to leadership.
• Ability to travel occasionally and work extended or nontraditional hours when needed to support events and business initiatives.
• Regular, reliable, and timely attendance is required.
• Ability to perform routine office work, including prolonged use of computers and keyboards.
• Ability to occasionally lift and carry up to 55 pounds and perform physical activities associated with event setup and execution, including bending, twisting, squatting, kneeling, reaching, pushing, pulling, and climbing stairs or ladders.
• Ability to safely perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.
