Exceptional Children's Teacher – Middle School Inclusion/Resource

Davidson Charter Academy is a K-8 public charter school. We are seeking a dedicated and energetic special education teacher to join our team. Our teachers act as positive role models and provide the highest quality of education. Please apply if you would like to contribute to creating a safe, nurturing, caring atmosphere for our students at Davidson Charter Academy.


Candidates must:

Salary & Benefits:

  • Salary based on the NC Certified Teacher Salary Schedule, years of experience, and licensure status
  • A possible 3% local supplement
  • Employer matching contributions of up to 6% to a 403(b) retirement plan
  • 10 PTO days per year, with unused PTO rolling over to the following year until the maximum accrual is reached
  • Paid holidays
  • Employer-paid medical insurance premium plan
  • Employer-funded short-term and long-term disability coverage


All teachers at DCA are on one year contracts. Contract renewal is contingent upon successful performance, completion of duties and expectations, as well as funding.
