Exchange and Clearing Operations Senior Analyst

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our team as Exchange and Clearing Operations Senior Analyst.  

In this role, you will play a critical leadership position within our exchange and clearing house, ensuring the integrity, efficiency, and stability of trading operations.  

You will leverage your expertise to oversee complex processes, mentor junior team members, and drive continuous improvement initiatives while maintaining the highest standards of operational excellence and regulatory compliance. 

 

 
Responsibilities 

• Central Function:
   Act as one of the key pillar within the exchange and clearing ecosystem by overseeing end-to-end operational processes. Ensure seamless execution, stability, and integrity of trading, clearing, and settlement activities, while guiding junior analysts and supporting team performance. 

• Precision in Trade, Clearing and Settlement Processes: Supervise and validate trade, clearing and settlement processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. Handle escalations, investigate discrepancies, and ensure timely resolution of complex operational issues. 

• Regulatory Adherence: Maintain deep understanding in Exchange and Clearing Rules and Procedures. Ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements, support audits, and contribute to policy enhancements and control frameworks.  Play an active role in upholding compliance with exchange and clearing regulations. 

• Insightful Data Analysis: Lead analytical initiatives to evaluate trading activities, identify trends, and provide insights to improve operational performance. Produce high-quality reports to support management decision-making. 

• Holistic Team Collaboration: Engage closely with diverse teams and external partners to ensure the harmonious functioning of exchange and clearing operations. 

• SOP Compliance: Develop a thorough understanding of Standard Operating Procedures and ensure consistent adherence to established workflows and controls. 

• Reporting Excellence:
  Oversee the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of operational and regulatory reporting. Implement quality control measures to minimize errors and operational risk. 

• Innovative Process Refinement: Identify avenues to optimize operational processes, infusing your fresh perspective for the continuous enhancement of efficiency. 

• Quality Customer Service: Assist and interact with market participants, addressing their inquiries, resolving issues. 

• Operational continuity: This role requires working on a rotating shift schedule to maintain consistent coverage and support for 22/5 exchange and clearing operations. Shift allowance will be provided for eligible shift duties. 

 
Qualifications 

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field. 

• 3–6+ years of experience in exchange, clearing, trading, settlement operations, or financial markets operations 

• Passion for the financial industry and a determined aspiration to excel in exchange and clearing operations. 

• Solid grasp of financial instruments, combined with an eagerness to learn about trading mechanisms and clearing processes. 

• Strong analytical skills, enabling quick comprehension of complex concepts and data. 

• Proactive approach to understanding and adhering to regulatory compliance within financial markets. 

• Effective communication skills and a collaborative mindset, essential for team-based operations. 

• Ability to thrive in a shift-based work environment, ensuring seamless support around the clock.
