Ihr Standort

Ihre Aufgaben und Verantwortlichkeiten

• Export Control (EC) & National Security (NS): Sie definieren Klassifizierungsregeln, leiten das „Tech Rater“-Netzwerk, stellen das Lizenzmanagement sicher und führen als Core Member das Arbeitspaket „Data Governance“ im Projekt Idefix.

• Strategische Gestaltung: Sie steuern die Tech Data Product Policy unter Berücksichtigung von EC- und NS-Anforderungen und bereiten strategische Entscheidungsvorlagen für das Management auf.

• Aviation Safety: Sie sind der zentrale Ansprechpartner für Aviation Safety innerhalb des ESAC-Bereichs, kaskadieren die Sicherheitskultur, klassifizieren Hazards und unterstützen das ESAC-Management bei der Förderung eines aktiven Sicherheitsbewusstseins.

• Stakeholder-Management: Sie agieren als verbindendes Element zwischen operativen Teams, Fachabteilungen (Procurement, IT, Legal, Security) und dem Top-Management in Deutschland, Frankreich und Spanien.

Erforderliche Kenntnisse und Qualifikationen

• Ausbildung: Abgeschlossenes Hochschulstudium ist zwingend erforderlich.

• Berufserfahrung: Mehrjährige Berufserfahrung im Bereich Support & Service (S&S) wird vorausgesetzt.

• Qualifikationen: Fundierte Kenntnisse in Export Control- und National Security-Regularien sowie Erfahrung in der Aviation Safety (Prozesse, AH-Direktiven).

• Expertise: Nachweisliche Erfahrung in komplexem Projektmanagement und in der fachübergreifenden Führung (Transversal Management).

• Fähigkeiten: Ausgeprägte Leadership-Qualitäten, um Stakeholder auf allen Ebenen zu beeinflussen.

• Sprachen: Verhandlungssicheres Englisch ist zwingend erforderlich.

In order to support the ESACE Department Airbus Helicopters is looking for a

Export Control & National Security Officer (m/w/d)

Within the ESACE department (Export Control & Supplier Strategies), you will join our Aircraft Technical Services (ESA) team at Airbus Helicopters in Donauwörth. In this role, you will be at the interface of business continuity and regulatory compliance. You will actively shape the future of Aircraft Technical Services, contributing to our operational excellence and global aircraft availability by ensuring we meet the highest standards of technical documentation and maintenance engineering.Your Mission & Responsibilities

Your location

At our Donauwörth site, located on the banks of the river Danube, we develop helicopters from the initial idea to the airworthy product. Watch them take off and touch down on our own on-site test airfield.

Your tasks and responsibilities

• Export Control (EC) & National Security (NS): Act as the ESA referent for classification topics. You will define ESA classification rules, manage the "Tech Rater" network, ensure license management for ESA in Germany, and lead the "Data Governance" work package within the Idefix project.

• Strategic Direction: Lead strategic decisions regarding the Tech Data Product Policy, ensuring EC and NS requirements are integrated. You will prepare decision-making proposals for management and execute action plans accordingly.

• Aviation Safety: Serve as the central ESAC focal point for Aviation Safety. You will cascade safety culture, classify hazards (Minor/Major) in accordance with Safety Management Systems (SMS), and support the ESAC management in promoting active safety awareness.

• Stakeholder Management: Act as a connector between operational teams and various departments (Procurement, IT, Legal, Security) and Top Management across our hubs in Germany, France, and Spain.

Desired skills and qualifications

• Education: Completed university degree (mandatory).

• Experience: Several years of professional experience in Support & Service (S&S) (mandatory).

• Qualifications: Strong knowledge of Export Control and National Security regulations and classification rules. Demonstrated experience in Aviation Safety (AH directives, processes, and technical competencies related to ESA activities).

• Expertise: Proven experience in complex project management and transversal management.

• Leadership: Strong ability to influence stakeholders at all levels, from operational teams to Top Management.

• Languages: Negotiation-level English is mandatory.

• Assets: Knowledge of S&S (Support & Services) activities is considered a plus.
