About this role

Join our team as a Crane Operator / Integrated Ratings (IR)

DOF is seeking expressions of interest for current and future job opportunities from highly experienced, skilled and knowledgeable Crane Operator Stage 3 with valid Integrated Ratings (IR) certification. 

DOF operates advanced subsea vessels supporting offshore construction, installation, inspection, maintenance and decommissioning projects within the Oil and Gas Industry. We are seeking experienced Crane Operators with a strong background in subsea lifting operations. These positions are responsible for the safe and efficient operation of vessel cranes, including complex lifts and the deployment and recovery of subsea equipment. Crane Operators will work closely with the vessel and project teams, complete routine inspections and maintenance, and ensure all lifting activities are performed in accordance with approved procedures and safety requirements.

Requirements

  • Stage 3 Crane Operator certification with proven experience working on Subsea projects is essential. 
  • Minimum Certification of Competency as an Able Seafarer (II/4 and III/4) with a history of experience in the Offshore Oil and Gas Industry is essential. 
  • Experience working on 400 tonnage Subsea vessels is beneficial. 
  • Hold a valid AMSA and/or Norwegian Medical. 
  • Hold a current or be able to obtain a BOSIET-CAEBS certification is mandatory. 
  • Hold a current MISC or be able to obtain one is beneficial. 
  • Strong focus on Health, Safety and Environmental practices.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration and interpersonal skills.
  • A positive team player with experienced working in a diverse environment.
  • Proactive, enthusiastic and solutions driven.
  • Demonstrate an adaptable and resilient approach to work remotely and manage offshore vessel demands.
