Job Description

KordaMentha is working with all levels of government, not-for-profits and the private sector on a range of their most complex challenges. Industries we work in include transport, infrastructure, energy, water and utilities, health and education, the environment, housing and real estate, defence and national security.

We anticipate significant demand and continued growth across our Queensland Public Sector Group in the coming months and welcome expressions of interest from talented professionals who would like to be considered for future opportunities as they arise.

You'll play a key role in growing our team, working with clients and engagement teams to deliver complex projects and support strategic business development activities.

We are seeking experienced consultants from a range of disciplines to join our Brisbane team:

• Strategy and operating model
• Governance risk and compliance
• Financial and commercial advisory
• Funding and financial sustainability
• Infrastructure and major projects
• Program design and evaluation
• Program and project risk
• Energy
• Data analytics and financial modelling
• Procurement and supply chain

Qualifications

For all team members:

• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to distil and present complex issues clearly.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, particularly the ability to address unstructured or ambiguous problems through application of logical and systematic techniques
• Consulting or advisory experience
• Excellent relationship building skills and ability to collaborate effectively with diverse client and internal stakeholders  

For senior appointments:

• A strong professional network, proven ability to pursue and win engagements, and to contribute to business growth
• Proven ability to build and nurture client and team relationships, driving initiatives and achieving strategic goals 
• Strong leadership, coaching and team-building skills, with experience guiding and motivating a high-performing team
• A proven track record of making critical decisions and/or being a trusted advisor to key decision makers
• Executive-level communication skills including the ability to synthesise complex information in both oral and written formats to inform fast decision making by senior business leaders.
