What you’ll do: 

• Assist in planning and performing external audits of private clients’ financial statements in line with regulatory and professional standards 

• Conduct substantive testing and detailed audit procedures on owner-managed businesses and family enterprises to identify risks and ensure accuracy 

• Help evaluate internal controls and financial processes to support audit objectives 

• Prepare clear and concise audit documentation, reports, and findings for clients and senior team members 

• Support the identification and communication of audit issues and collaborate with clients to resolve financial reporting challenges 

• Participate in continuous improvement activities to enhance audit efficiency and quality 

What we’re looking for: 

• Audit Expertise: Minimum 3 years of experience in external audit and ideally one year as a Senior Auditor or equivalent with exposure to Private Clients or owner-managed businesses. 

• Relevant Qualification: Bachelor’s qualification in Commerce or Finance, and progress towards or completion of a recognised CA 

• Analytical Skills: Ability to analyse financial information, identify risks, and apply professional judgement to audit processes 

• Teamwork and Development: Coach and develop junior staff members and project plan 

• Communication Skills: Ability to prepare audit findings clearly and communicate effectively with clients and internal stakeholders 

• Industry Awareness and Regulatory Understanding: Foundational knowledge of auditing standards, financial reporting frameworks, and regulatory requirements, with a commitment to ongoing learning
